6 Romantic Activities Couples Can Do On Valentine's Day

It’s just another normal day…

If you have to do something to fulfill social norms, you could.

(I am suggesting these ideas as a woman knowing that most women love these)

1. Take her out to a restaurant

Take her to a nice restaurant, depending on what you can afford, and then spend some quality time with her. By that, I mean take her somewhere where you can have an intimate chat, play games and feel that intense connection.

2. Go for a drive/ride

Take her on a ride/drive to a beautiful place it could be within the city or outside the city. Maybe you can even arrange a picnic and carry some food. If she’s adventurous.  If she’s not the outdoor type, take her somewhere calm - a beach or something like that. Go on a boat ride if you can afford it. Give her all your attention.

3. Take her shopping

If she’s one of those women who loves shopping, then do just that. Hopefully, you can afford her tastes. Take her to her favorite store and buy her anything she wants. Doing it one day in a year, apart from her birthday, is all right.

Happy Valentine's day 💕

4. Give her flowers.

This seems to be very thoughtful for many women, so keep that in mind. Hopefully, you know her well enough to know which flowers she prefers.

5. Take her to the movies

Take her to the movies. Most cinema houses know that couples are good customers on Valentine’s Day, so you will have enough romantic movies to choose from. There's a cinema close to you! Buy the tickets! Don’t expect her to do that at least not on Valentine’s Day. Get her favorite flavor of popcorn during the interval. The family size might be enough.

6. Do something fun together

Sign up for a couples nights out. Any outing filled with activities that is geared towards creating that bond between husband and wife eg a paint and sip, couples dinner, couples game night can be an amazing way to spend the valentine. (Women In Business WIB have organized a paint and sip/couples nights out this Valentine!)

Most of these are pretty common ideas. Most guys do things like this.

To make it extra special  and if you think she’s the one - you could propose on Valentine’s Day. That would be the icing on the cake. I have yet to meet a woman who doesn’t want to get married, so that should work for most couples.

I think when it comes to spoiling women, attention is the first thing you have to keep in mind. Know what she likes and give it to her. You can thank me later.

Now, let’s get to the other side of the equation. Again, you don’t need to wait till Valentine’s Day every year to do any of these things. I would suggest doing these kinds of things at least once a week. Every day might be expensive.

When it comes to men, the best way to treat them on Valentine’s Day is to give them your time. Just spend time with the guy. You don’t even need to go out. Maybe cook his favorite food and get ready for a night of many events.

Cook a nice meal - i.e. if you can cook. Watch a movie together at home. Tell him that he doesn’t need to go out of his way to make you feel special, and mean it.

Don’t tell him what so-and-so is doing and where they’re going and what not. Guys are simple; if you talk about what others are doing, he might try to do something similar because he doesn’t want you to feel bad.

In the end, everybody wants to feel loved every day… And loved for who they are. Not for how much they can buy you. Not for how well you get along. Not just because it’s Valentine’s Day. Love is beautiful and Like plants must be nurtured.
