I wrote my first blog post in October 2021. It was so discouraging, i felt i had made a wrong move even thinking i could even write not to talk of owning a blog site. I started out without knowing any thing about blogging. How to gain audience, how to position myself, what to even talk about and how to profit from it. I thought of giving up on it because no one noticed me even though i shared it on my facebook profile. I was so discouraged that i didn't bother to write another and almost gave up on my desire to run a blog.

I have come to realize that it is not about writing on your blog, but about getting people to read your write ups or your thoughts. Could this be the general plight of business owners who have ever hosted a blog site? It can be  really frustrating and discouraging each time you see your blog post not read. 

We would all love it if readers come to our blogs to read on their own but the reality is that it takes time and a lot of hard work to get people to read or rather gain audience. It is tempting and easy to give up on blogging but once you understand it you will find out that your blog can have a really great impact on your business or brand by attracting traffic to your site, helping you to build a social media audience and making an impression on prospects and clients.

Write more often on your blog, do not just write once or twice and that's it. Keep writing on your blog site and sharing them. Running a blog in the beginning can be very discouraging but if you write about yourself and your passions it can become the most lucrative and enjoyable business ever.
